ChromatiX is Leon’s graphics project, with an official site, paid access link and dated changelog. An old 2.1 or 2.2 description does not identify the package currently offered. Use the creator’s current release instructions rather than an unspecified free-download claim.

Check the edition and installation target
The changelog distinguishes FiveM support from GTA V Enhanced changes. Verify which files apply to your game edition and whether they belong to a local client or a server. Features documented for one edition do not prove that another package includes them.
Keep changes reversible
Back up every file you replace and retain the supplied removal instructions. Do not accept a blanket “replace all” instruction without knowing the target paths and which existing graphics modifications it overwrites. Install optional vegetation, roads or shader components only when the selected release documents them.
Compare the same location, weather, time and graphics settings before and after installation. Test darkness, rain, emergency lights and frame times, then remove optional components individually when isolating a problem. Check the FiveM server’s permitted client modifications. The changelog was reviewed through its 11 August 2026 entry; creator performance statements are not measurements on your hardware.
