Write a brief with clear limits
Specify the exact server name and spelling, the roleplay theme, one main symbol, two or three colors and the preferred style. Name the intended uses, such as a small community icon and a website header. State whether you need an emblem alone, a wordmark or both. Avoid packing several vehicles, weapons, buildings and slogans into one small mark.

For a police-roleplay community, ask for an original shield shape, a simple city outline and a restrained blue-and-gold palette. For a military-themed community, describe an original geometric emblem with olive, tan and black. Give the actual server name and avoid copying real unit insignia or official seals.
Check the result before publishing
Read every letter of the server name and inspect small-size contrast, thin lines and edge artifacts. Test the logo on both light and dark backgrounds. Keep the editable source when available; a generated raster image is not automatically a vector file. Make a clean square icon and a wider header version rather than stretching one export into every shape.
Compare alternatives using the same brief, change one design decision at a time and keep the chosen colors and spacing documented. Confirm that you may use the fonts and visual elements. Save the final assets and source files so later changes do not depend on recreating an old prompt.
