Separate inventory items from gameplay
An item definition and icon do not implement a salon job or change a character’s nails. Decide which existing cosmetic or job resource will use each item, and check that it supports the intended character model and appearance system.
Import the matching definitions
Back up your inventory configuration and images. Use the example for your actual inventory, inspect item names for collisions and copy icons to its documented image directory. Avoid importing several alternative framework examples together.
Connect the items to your intended shop or crafting recipe. Set price, quantity and access deliberately. If using an item changes appearance, define when it is consumed and how the saved character appearance is updated.
Check the player journey
Test buying, moving and using the item, including a full inventory and a cancelled action. Reconnect with the same character to check appearance persistence. Verify icons and labels at normal inventory scale before adding the items to a public shop.
