As checked on 10 September 2026, Rockstar’s GTA VI page lists 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not list a PC release. The official announcements reviewed for this article do not establish a GTA VI version of FiveM, a release date for it or compatibility with existing FiveM resources.

FiveM Enhanced is for GTA V
Cfx.re’s July 2026 development update announced early access to FiveM for GTAV Enhanced for 21 July. Enhanced refers to the PC edition of GTA V, not GTA VI. Its new installer, server component and development tools therefore do not prove that a GTA VI roleplay client is available.

Rockstar ownership is not a GTA VI compatibility announcement
Cfx.re joined Rockstar Games in August 2023. That announcement explicitly focused on FiveM and RedM. Rockstar’s September 2026 announcement of the nopixel V closed beta also concerns GTAV roleplay. Neither announcement promises that a GTA V server, character database or purchased resource will transfer to GTA VI.

What server owners can do now
Keep a versioned inventory of your scripts, database migrations, custom assets and licenses. Separate game-specific native calls and identifiers from your own business logic where practical. This can make a future port easier to assess, but it cannot guarantee one before the target platform and APIs exist.
Do not buy a package solely because it is labeled GTA 6 ready, and do not install an unofficial SixM or GTA VI FiveM executable on that claim alone. Require an announcement from Rockstar or Cfx.re and matching technical documentation. Check the official GTA VI page again before planning around a release date.
