Quasar Smartphone vs LB Phone: choosing an alternative

Compare the integration work before comparing app counts. These are documented requirements checked on 12 September 2026, not a performance ranking or a promise about older downloads.

Quasar Smartphone

Quasar Smartphone V3 lists MariaDB 10.6 or newer, oxmysql, ox_lib, xsound and pma-voice. Quasar 3D Sound is optional. Its installation guide also covers inventory order and media-service configuration.

LB Phone

LB Phone lists MariaDB 10.11 or newer, oxmysql and current server artifacts, with loaf_bcrypt recommended. Its installation guide covers upload providers and starting custom apps after the phone.

LB Phone installation requirements

Neither set of requirements proves that your existing phone data will migrate. Test calls, inventory use, uploads and saved data on a separate server, then compare the work needed with the benefit of switching.

Confirm the edition and framework first

The creator advertises ESX, QBCore and Qbox integrations. That does not prove compatibility with every custom inventory, voice stack or older Quasar edition. Obtain the entitled package through the creator’s account-delivery route and follow documentation for that exact release. The image and video below are historical previews, not proof of the current interface.

Prepare dependencies and a recoverable migration

The current installation guide lists oxmysql, ox_lib, xsound and pma-voice; Quasar 3D Sound is optional. Start your framework, inventory and required dependencies before the phone. Back up your database and existing phone configuration, inspect the supplied SQL and test on a separate server. Disable the old phone during testing rather than deleting its data or assuming contact/message formats migrate automatically.

Check media, calls and add-ons separately

The guide documents FiveManage for camera and recording uploads, with a custom-upload integration as an alternative. WebRTC calls need the documented TURN configuration; choose the supported provider setup that fits your server and check its service terms. Keep credentials private. Test calls between two players, uploads, inventory use, bank/job integrations and restart persistence before switching publicly.

Free Smartphone DLCs require the supported base phone. Some apps also depend on separate Quasar resources, such as the associated racing or motel system. Include these dependencies and external services in your decision. This article verifies the creator’s listing and documentation; it does not provide a free package, benchmark results or an in-game certification of every integration.
