Police CAD/MDT: downloads and requirements
Two archives are included: a Laravel 8 web application and the ns_policecad FiveM resource. The web application reads server database records; its README describes it as separate from direct in-game interaction. Do not assume that both archives form one automatically synchronized system.
For the web application, the included README lists a web server, PHP 8.0 or newer, MySQL, access to the FiveM database, npm and Composer; Redis is optional. Point the web document root to the public directory, configure your own database connections and replace the supplied default login before allowing access. Compatibility with current PHP releases has not been tested.
The FiveM resource declares es_extended and loads mysql-async. Its code uses the legacy esx:getSharedObject event and the users, jobs, job_grades and owned_vehicles tables. Check those interfaces on your server, review the included sql.sql against a database backup, and configure the police job, ranks and access rules in config.lua.
Setup correction required: the supplied fxmanifest.lua starts with /fx_version. Remove the leading slash in your installation before starting ns_policecad after its dependencies. This corrects the manifest syntax only; full in-game operation and compatibility with your ESX version still require testing.
