Its repository is archived. The creator links a separate vHud remake; the instructions here concern the original v-hud resource, not that replacement. It contains web\/build\/index.html and the compiled JavaScript and CSS required by fxmanifest.lua. The repository source ZIP lacks that built directory and is not the same installation package.<\/p>\n<p>Back up the existing HUD, extract the v-hud resource folder into server resources and add ensure v-hud to server.cfg after any selected framework dependencies. The manifest loads client\/utils.lua before client\/client.lua; preserve that order because UIMessage is defined in utils.lua. Test on a separate server before replacing an existing HUD.<\/p>\n<h2>Framework options and actual behaviour<\/h2>\n<p>The standalone display reads health, armour, voice activity and vehicle speed, gear and fuel. In shared\/config.lua, choose the applicable QBCore, ESX or vRP adapter for additional player data. ESX hunger and thirst depend on esx_status updates. vRP also requires enabling its utility import in the manifest.<\/p>\n<p>The QB stress option displays existing player metadata; it does not implement stress gain or relief. The seatbelt display listens for an event from another resource such as qb-smallresources; enabling it does not install a complete seatbelt mechanic. Vehicle speed uses an MPH conversion in client\/client.lua, which must agree with the displayed unit if changed.<\/p>\n<h2>Known source limitations<\/h2>\n<p>The reloadHud command starts the QB-specific status loop even outside QBCore, and repeated calls can create additional update loops. Do not use it as a universal troubleshooting instruction. Check character loading, pause-menu visibility, units and adapter events in your actual setup. The original preview is an early release illustration.
